We are currently looking for a creative, energetic, reliable and committed professional to join our team as Private Class Sales and Consumer Marketing Specialist.

This position will start Part time (working quickly towards full time) working out of our South Surrey office. There is opportunity to also work from home for the right individual and situation.

This position is suited to someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, has very creative marketing ideas and is able to communicate them through a variety of methods. Some of these may be:

1. Newsletter writing and distribution
2. Membership Marketing and Program Development
3. Website writing and Updates
4. Internet Marketing through social networking
5. Word of mouth / refferal programs

You will be required to create and maintain effective marketing programs that raise awareness and increase sales (both digital/internet and print).

Must:
- Be very good at creating visual collateral
- Be able to work with Adobe Illustrator or other graphics programs
- Have previous sales experience with proven results
- Be able to work well with a team and independantly
- Pay close attention to detail and have pride in work
- Have excellent writing and editing skills (including sales writing)
- Have experience working in digital media
- Have good understanding of Internet Marketing tools and techniques

KidsEat School Cafeteria Head Cook

Kidproof Safety is one of North Americas largest child centric businesses specializing in child safety and enrichment programs. Our newest division KidsEat Culinary, is designed to help increase healthy food choices for kids through a number of initiatives including KidsEat School Lunch Program.

We are a dynamic, dedicated and high energy team that consistently delivers top quality programs, products and services Nationwide.

We are currently looking for someone to operate one of our KidsEat school cafeterias.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Hours may vary.

Responsibilities:

- Supervises and coordinates activities including food preparation, kitchen, storage and kitchen staff
- Plans and organizes preparation and cooking schedule for each day
- Weekly forecasts and budgets to maintain food cost control
- Builds relationships with food providers to purchase supplies at a reasonable cost
- Weekly inventory of kitchen supplies
- Prepares and cooks meals in accordance to the BC Nutrition Guidelines for schools
- Ensures food prep is done in a timely manner and follows health and safety protocol
- Controls portion costs by specifying the exact number of servings made from any given item and
utilizes food leftovers
- Trains new kitchen employees and leads by example to communicate with staff
- Ensures cleanliness of kitchen and equipment

Requirements:

- 2-3 years experience in catering industry
- Experience in food costing and inventory control
- Food Safe Certification
- Outgoing and friendly
- Ability to work efficiently with no supervision
