About Us

Kidproof was formed in 2000 by Samantha Wilson. As a cop, Samantha received fantastic, informative, cutting edge child safety information that was only being shared by law enforcement and other helping agencies. The information was not "top secret" but had no way of reaching those who needed it most - parents.

So she formed Kidproof to do just that.

"We were formed for one reason, to help raise child safety awareness by empowering children and parents with knowledge that they can draw from in case of an emergency or dangerous situation."

What started as a small community service in Canada, Kidproof has grown to have international reach and is a driving force in proactive and preventative child safety education from coast to coast. With a steady growth rate, our team continues to develop programs, seminars and services that enrich and empower families - and ultimately keep kids safe.

The recent introduction of the Delivery Partner Program has allowed Kidproof programs to reach communities often left out. Now, individual community partners can train and deliver our exclusive programs directly to their communities - anytime.

Child safety is timeless and universal and Kidproof is dedicated to every aspect of keeping kids healthy and safe. Kidproof spans across North America, with offices in the east and west, we employ over 200 Certified Instructors and regular staff that are the most fantastic, committed and talented individuals on the planet.

2008 already?

Where do we begin!

2007 was bigger and better than we expected! As we continue to grow in new communities, we are making partnerships internationally. Our programs have been embraced on a global scale. This year we are proud to welcome a new partner in South Africa.

We even moved offices! Our new headquarters is a 5000 square foot facility that houses everything Kidproof. Here is where we create new programs, assist our families, develop new initiatives, and train our instructors. And speaking of new initiatives, we decided it was time that we used our influence to help kids make healthier choices when it came to eating right and give guidance to parents and educators that are faced with new changes in the food and nutrition guides.

Kidseat sm So we created KidsEat Culinary for all things healthy eating and living for kids. This includes exclusive cooking classes, school lunch programs, special events and education seminars to encourage healthy lifestyles for kids. We also created a brand new commercial kitchen within Kidproof Headquarters, and hired a top Executive Chef to lend his expertise and make KidsEat the best it can be!

What a great year 2007 was for Kidproof USA. We exceeded our expectations and have developed strong networks with Delivery Partners in Florida, Texas, Virginia, Illinois, Louisiana, California, Washington, Maine, New York, and Oregon. Over the next year, we will continue to develop partnerships in cities and states to be able to provide families and communities access to our top child, parent and community safety programs and seminars.
